As an undergraduate student, you may not be doing much counseling.  Yet, upon entering a M.A. or PhD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, you will begin learning basic principles in how to counsel clients.  Typically, students are exposed to individual counseling, but you must learn to gain experience with group counseling as well.  A link below demonstrates Ed Jacobs discussing the importance of Leadership Skills in group counseling.  Take the time to learn about these skills now, so that you are able to grasp some of these concepts early on in your training.
